USF update: now fully unpacked and comfy, meeting new peeps and enjoying my life 8)

I had a job interview today, as a candidate for a student assistant job in the Provost's office. I feel like my interview went really well, I answered all questions reasonably well and was personable. C: I'll know by the 30th, so that's good.

Now for the real reason I'm posting:

What have I been doing lately? To be blunt, not much of anything. Haha, I got my hair trimmed today? Whoo~

The most exciting thing is Emily, my bff who cosplayed my Lugia, and I are trying to pick our next cosplays. If any of you are familiar with the Vocaloid series, then you know what a vast selection there is for us to choose from. Nothing has really hit either of us yet and neither of us want to push something on the other so it's slow going so far. But we have a full year, so it's okay. :3

I made it through finals~ And although official grades are still coming in, I'm pretty sure I reached my goal of 3.5+ gpa :D so woot woot on that

Home is going well so far, eating yummy food and hanging with the fams. Baby!nephew is old enough (20 months) to be a toddler!nephew I guess? Idk but he still loves me bunches and laughs quite loudly when I give him impromptu and often abnormal piggyback rides. C8

I might be heading to the Florida Keys next weekend? Drew (bf) called me up and said that Dustin (our mutual friend/student mentor) is inviting us to go with him and some of his friends to go down and snorkel etc. So that'd be super awesome! The only thing is it clashes with one of the days my sister was trying to get me in to assist her at work. Choices choices, and I mean this seriously. It's money/better job ops VS fun/keys/beach. I still have to get the details from Drew/Dustin but still, whee~

Today was not fun. Yesterday was not fun. Having two math-related finals and a paper due on one day, the first day of finals week, is not fun.

I wish I could move some of the points I got on my stats I final to my financial accounting final, but alas I cannot. I'm pretty sure I retained my B in finacc though, so that's good at least. :)

All I have left is easypeasy Japan Today and decent Macro's finals, so I should be good. /celebrates

I moved back to USF today! Sitting here at 2am on my laptop listening to the gossip train getting moving, it puts things in perspective. On one hand, the dining hall opens tomorrow at 4pm (!!!) and class starts Monday - same old with some new mixed in. On the other, the dirt is being dished - new things mixed in what's already happened. Interesting combo.

Either way -> LAPTOP!!!! The only obstacle left is an unfortunate happenstance: they sent me the wrong power cord. The plug is, I assume, for European outlets. :( :( :( The only way my laptop's alive is the pure luck on the boy having a universal adapter for his laptop. We traded - my laptop could charge if he could play DOTA on it at the same time. XD But anyway, I am happy.

FinAcc, Macro, and BLS should all be okay classes. Not the best, but except for some work and studying not a big deal. Japan Today and the British class should be really awesome, unless the 3hr timeframe of JT kills it (6pm to 9pm D: D: D:). And UE is just dumb, mandated by the program I'm in.

Tomorrow I'm off to Target to get a microwave, a pillow, a toothbrush, and something to fix my laptop charger. All of which, except for the microwave, I left at home. MY NEW PILLOW ALONE ALL SQUISHY AND UNCARED FOR ;_;
